On-Site Personalisation Recommended Practices
Get the most out of our personalisation services by practicing good crowd control and promoting our personalisation station. :)
Here’re some recommendations based on our past experiences.
Crowd control
Have customers/guests decide on their personalisation as soon as they arrive or receive their items.
If your event consists of various activities, consider allowing customers/guests to send in their requests earlier. They can continue to enjoy the event while we work on their personalisations.
Promotion & awareness
Make sure to inform customers/guests of our personalisation service so that they are aware of it.
You don’t have to wait for the day of the event to spread the word! Try promoting the personalisation service via social media or a newsletter.
Direct customers/guests to our personalisation booth.
Station us somewhere visible and easy to access! :)
Include photos of the personalisation so that customers/guests have an idea of what to expect. Some might be reluctant to try it out because they don’t know what the outcome will be like.
Workflow
Station someone to assist us with packing and unpacking so that we can focus on the personalisation and fulfil more requests.
The less time there is between each personalisation, the more requests we can fulfil.
We will prepare a simple form/sheet for customers/guests to fill in their personalisation requests (pictured below). Feel free to speak to us if you have any preference on this or want to customise the form.
Consider limiting the personalisation options so that we have time for other customers’/guests’ requests.
E.g. Character limit, color choice limit, size limit, placement limit, item quantity limit
