What are the rates?

4 hours and below - from RM260/hour
5 to 11 hours - from RM230/hour
12 hours and above - from RM200/hour

On-site rates are charged per hour, per artist.

These rates are not final and may be subject to increase or decrease depending on other event details (read more below). Talk to us so we can work something out!


What affects the rates?

Type of service offered

  • e.g. Calligraphy on paper products & stationery is the most basic customisation service we offer, so the rate will be lower than engraving and illustration


How does this work and how many units will the artist personalise?

For on-site engagements, you are paying us for on-site work and we will work on as many units as we can during the event hours. If you’re looking to engage us for off-site work, kindly refer to this link.

Tip: Let us know how many pax you are expecting so we can advise on the most suitable application method to fulfil as many personalisation requests as possible!


How do I know which application method is suitable for my product/material/surface?

Prior to any brand activation, we do offer to test out various application methods in order to determine the most suitable for your event. Just send us your product/material!

Testing and samples are complimentary for confirmed engagements and may be subject to charges if the engagement is cancelled. Any delivery fees shall be shouldered by the client.


How long does it take to complete a name/illustration?

How many requests can be completed within an hour?

It can take anywhere from a few seconds to more than 15 minutes for names, and anywhere from 5 to more than 30 minutes for illustrations.


Some factors include:

  • length of each name/complexity of illustration

  • size & material of the surface to be written on

  • unwrapping/unpacking products

  • preparing the product/item's surface

  • tools needed to apply the writing

  • drying time (if any)

Other external factors:

  • streamlining of customer requests

  • customers’ ability to decide quickly

  • how much of the artwork they are allowed to customise


The event is for a short duration, but I’m expecting a lot of guests. How can we speed things up?

There are a few options we can consider to meet your needs:


Engage more artists:

  • We can arrange for a team of artists to work simultaneously to expedite completion of a large no. of requests.

  • Rates are per hour, per artist. E.g. if your event is 2 hours long, hiring 2 artists will equal to 4 hours of charges.

Simplify the customisation options/designs/process:

  • You might want to consider going for more simple designs, or limiting guests’ options so that we can complete a higher no. of requests.

  • Consider imposing a character limit.

Set an earlier start time for the artists:

  • E.g. if your event starts at 6pm, consider hiring us from 5pm so that we can kick-start the customisation before guests arrive.

Let us partially customise your items prior to the event date:

  • We can customise a part of the items off-site so that on the day of the event, we will only need to focus on adding in the final touches.

  • E.g. Painting flowers on candle jars off-site, engraving guests’ names on-site.

  • Just remember that off-site personalisations may be subject to additional/separate charges.


What will the artist provide from their end?

The artist will bring all the required tools to apply the calligraphy and illustrations onto the chosen surface. 
E.g. engraving machine, ink, pens, markers, heat gun, etc.


What is required from the client's end?

  • A table of at least 60cm by 30cm surface area.

  • A chair. If the table is standing height, a chair is optional.

  • A power socket for us to power our customisation equipment and tools.

  • Station a staff with us who is well-versed about the event/products/brand to help us traffic the requests and entertain customer inquiries regarding the products and customisation (if a large crowd is expected).


Can I request for the artist to arrive before the event starts?

We typically arrive and standby 15 minutes before the event starts, but you may request for an earlier standby time, subject to additional charges.


Can I request for the artist to extend their hours to fulfil any remaining/additional requests?

Sure! If the artist’s schedule permits, you may request for an extension, subject to additional charges.

If the event has ended and you require personalisation done off-site, additional charges will be imposed.


How can I confirm/lock in your dates for the event?

Is there any payment required to confirm/lock in your dates?

Should you like to confirm an engagement with us and ensure we block out our dates & times for you (especially during holiday/festive/peak seasons), kindly note that we may request for a 20% deposit fee, a signed quotation, and/or PO number.
